In an application such as mining, the process calls for cables with a specific set of requirements. Typically, the generation of heat is common during mining. The outer cover on ordinary wires would melt in high heat, thus exposing live wires. Applications that use heat, water, and fire, do not mix well with live wires. When a wire is live, it carries currents. The bare wire can result in a shock to the miners. And this itself could be harmful to their health or, worse, lead to death. Another type of wire we manufacture is of the silicone variety. These cables suit environments whose performance calls for appreciation across a wide temperature range.
In environments where exposure to highly corrosive chemicals is unavoidable, engineers recommend our PTFE Teflon. The carbon-fluorine bonds present in the PTFE Teflon improve the tensile strength of the cable. Cables work well for applications that require both high strength and good corrosion resistance properties.
